195 micro, small and medium-sized enterprises from all over Bulgaria can benefit from €2,000 for digitalisation of their activities and expert support for a total of €15,000. The funds are provided under the DIGITRANS programme, a grant programme managed by the World Bank and funded by the European Commission. In Bulgaria it is implemented with the partnership of the Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises and with the help of experts from launchlabs Sofia.
The project aims to improve the adoption and use of digital technologies among Bulgarian companies, allowing them to improve their operational efficiency and competitiveness in the market by taking one or two key steps.
All Bulgarian companies with a low level of digitalisation that were registered at least 12 months ago are eligible for support. They need to have 5 to 35 employees (including owners and managers) and a full-time team at the time of application.
The process is made as easy as possible by filling in a form on the programme website. The deadline for this is 15 July 2024.
