Empowering SMEs 2024 is looking for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including start-ups, that are ready to expand their activities by tackling industrial challenges and contributing to a competitive and sustainable European manufacturing sector.
Proposals should adapt existing solutions to new sectors or industrial settings. Existing solutions must already be on the market and proven successful. Applicants should provide testimonials from current customers and show evidence of revenue generated, include innovation and experimentation, with solutions applied in a real industrial environment (test areas or simulations are not eligible).
New solutions require a balance between proven success and innovation to achieve commercially viable and impactful results; New solutions must reach Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 8 or higher by the end of the project; The SME must demonstrate that sales of the new solution generate revenues of at least EUR 10 000 no later than 6 months after the end of the project. To be implemented in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe associated country.
The total budget allocated to this call is EUR 1 million.
Any SME and start-up established in one of the Member States (including Overseas Countries and Territories, (OCTs) or Horizon Europe Associated Countries and Low and Middle Income Countries.
