On 26 and 27 November 2024, EDIH Zagore participated in the second edition of the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) Network Meeting in Brussels. The event brought together key participants from the EDIH network, including representatives from various thematic working groups, national authorities and expert groups, to discuss challenges and opportunities in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital transformation. More than 700 participants from 43 countries shared their experiences in a variety of panels, workshops and discussions focusing on best practices for digital transformation and innovative solutions in different sectors such as agri-food, construction, cybersecurity, digital health and smart connectivity. Participants had the opportunity to engage in sessions on topics such as the application of AI, access to finance and collaboration between different EU initiatives. One of the main attractions of the event was the EDIH Network Awards Ceremony, which honoured the network’s most outstanding success stories. The awards were distributed in four categories:

Numerous networking opportunities were provided during the event. Dedicated meeting spaces were provided to facilitate connections between attendees, and through a matchmaking platform attendees could book individual appointments and connect with other professionals in the field. These sessions provided an opportunity to share experiences, establish new partnerships and strengthen existing links within the EDIH network.
The 2024 EDIH Network Meeting has consolidated its role as a key platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience on digital transformation in Europe, providing participants with valuable opportunities for collaboration and development.
Three of the hubs in Bulgaria were present at the meeting, besides EDIH Zagore, these were AgroHub.BG and ECIH in the construction sector.
