In the crowded foyer of the Stara Zagora State Opera Dr. Grozeva reminded why Stara Zagora will be the engine of the economic development of the whole Southeastern Bulgaria in the coming years. This was during the nationwide business forum “Economic Partnership and Business Development in Stara Zagora Region”, organized by Leader.bg on March 26, 2025.
Stara Zagora offers opportunities on many fronts and for all those who want to develop and are not afraid of innovation and industries of the future, even if they sound exotic today. The region has traditions and huge potential in food production, and clean and quality food is the key to a successful and prosperous society. That is why ARRI is involved in several projects related to improving the environment in the agri-food sector and the competitiveness of its enterprises. The Zahir project still sounds exotic in our latitudes, but it is already underway with the bid to realise the first and largest hydrogen valley in South East Europe. Believing in the prospects that hydrogen offers, ARRI is also the lead partner for a hydrogen mobility project.
EDIH- Zagore is the fastest access to digital technologies for businesses. The digital hub has a budget of €4 million to provide services to businesses free of charge to digitise processes, products and everything else from building a website and e-shop to developing sophisticated software to manage machines and hundreds of employees.
